Reviews and Ratings
De Moksha has great potential with its beautiful tropical garden setting and luxurious villas, but there are several issues that need addressing, including maintenance and customer service. While my room was clean and comfortable, the dining experience could use improvement and their advertised services were not fully upheld. Overall, it was a mixed stay, with highlights in the tranquil environment and supportive staff, but also some significant shortcomings.
Our stay at this resort was truly a mix of highs and lows. The lush surroundings and the beauty of nature were breathtaking, providing a peaceful escape from the noise of Bali. However, while the villas were spacious, the bathroom facilities and food seriously let us down, which diminished our overall experience. The serene atmosphere and friendly service were appreciated, but the remote location posed a challenge for dining options.
I had a pretty rough start to my honeymoon at this hotel. The place was way too dark at night, giving off a really eerie vibe. The room wasn’t private at all, and I had to face some creepy crawlers in the bathroom. While the location is quite remote and a bit challenging to reach, it did offer a peaceful environment. Sadly, the management was unresponsive to my concerns, which was frustrating. Overall, it felt like a horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
I had mixed feelings about my stay. The staff were genuinely warm and eager to help, and I loved the breakfast options. However, the main pool was out of order, and the overall maintenance was lacking. The dining experience felt overpriced, especially for New Year's Eve. Although the setting was beautiful, the mosquito situation was frustrating, especially given the outbreak warnings.
I had a truly wonderful stay at De Moksha Boutique Resort, highlighted by an amazing villa with a private pool and excellent service from the staff. The only downside was missing out on the promised welcome drinks upon arrival. The resort provided a tranquil setting, ideal for relaxation and exploration, especially with the complimentary bicycles to visit nearby attractions.
